Welcome to the beginning of our 2018 spring season. Southern Manitoba in a last week has seen some warm temperatures. With the Winnipeg river open now we expect many of our lakes accessible with in the next seven days. Stay tuned and we will update as each camps opens and the Trophies start to be landed and measured.

JACKSON'S LODGE & OUTPOSTS : AREA ONE

 

                                       Echo Lake Outpost

Echo Lake is a short twenty minute flight from our Float base in Lac du Bonnet and is perfect for individuals who do not enjoy long flights. Located in the Whiteshell Provincial Park, Echo Lake is known for its consistent walleye fishing, productive Smallmouth Bass and aggressive Northern Pike.

Walleye average 18-24 inches, Bass 16-18 inches and Northern Pike 27-40 inches. Fish among many islands and shallow bays with nine miles of water to explore.

 

We are the only outpost cabin on the lake. This large 2 bedroom, 10 person cabin is located on a sheltered island on the South side of the lake. Inside you will find hot and cold running water, private shower and bathroom sink, a full kitchen with pots, pans, utensils and dishes, a large refrigerator-freezer unit and gas stove. Outside a propane barbecue and fish cooker is supplied. This cabin is equipped with solar lights and wood stove for heat. Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered deck overlooking the water edge.

 Echo Lake is one of our most popular destinations with a tremendous fishery.

 Wapeskapek Lake

 

Wapeskapek is a 30 minute flight from our Float base in Lac du Bonnet located 70 miles North. This beautiful camp is in the heart of Atikaki Provincial Park, on the widening of the Gammon River. You will have five miles each way from the cabin to explore. There are high rock cliffs along the shoreline with many bays full of vegetation to fish. Average water depths range from 10-35 feet. Supporting a very healthy Walleye and Northern Pike fishery, this lake has a set of waterfalls located at each end, which allows for a constant flow of water. Many trophy fish are caught and released with Pike fishing remaining constant throughout the year. Walleye average 18-24 inches and Northern Pike average 27-40 inches.

 

This spacious 3 bedroom, 8 person cabin is located on an island in the center of the lake. Napigon Lake Outpost

Napigon Lake is a 55 minute flight from our Float base in Lac du Bonnet located 100 miles Northeast. This camp is in the Atikaki Provincial Park, on the Leon River. With 8 miles of water to explore, be sure to travel up the south river to another small lake with incoming falls. As a smaller body of water, this lake is great for your 3-4 day fishing adventure. No need to worry about losing quality fishing time to high winds as rough water is rare. Spend your days fishing for Walleye and Northern Pike. Find some of Manitoba's hottest Walleye holes.

 

 This 2 bedroom, 8 person cabin is located on a peninsula on the North shore. We are only the outpost cabin on the lake. Great place for family and friends.

Walleye Average 18-24 inches and Northern Pike 27-40 inches.

Upper Lake Outpost

Upper Lake is a 45 minute flight from our Float base in Lac du Bonnet located 89 miles Northeast. This camp is in the Atikaki Provincial Park, on the Sasaginnigak River system. This is an excellent location for fisherman who do not want to fight high winds and rough water. This lake extends over eight miles, with its widest point approximately three quarters of a mile wide. Pike average 27-40 inches and Walleye 25-30 inches.

 We are the only outpost cabin on the lake. This 2 bedroom, 9 person cabin is located on the North shore in the middle of the lake nestled among pine trees. Spend your days fishing for trophy Northern Pike and walleye.

      Little Sass Lake Outpost

Little Sass is a 45 minute flight from our float base in Lac du Bonnet located 88 miles Northeast. This camp is in the Atikaki Provincial Park, on the Sasaginnigak River system. Fish for Walleye and Pike among structure such as islands, reefs, sandbars and waterfalls. This lake extends over seven miles and has a reputation of one of Manitoba's most productive Walleye and Northern Pike fisheries. Pike over 45 inches are commonly caught each year.

We are the only outpost cabin on the lake. This two bedroom, eight
person cabin is located on the South shore in the middle of the lake.
Inside you will find hot and cold running water, private shower and
bathroom sink, a full kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, and dishes,
one large refrigerator/freezer unit and gas stove.

Outside a propane barbecue and fish cooker is supplied. This cabin is

                          Artery Lake Outpost




Finest trophy Walleye and Pike fishing in Northern Manitoba



Artery Lake is a 40 minute flight from our Float base in Lac du Bonnet located 80 miles Northeast. As the headwater of the Bloodvein River, Artery Lake is also considered a border water which means this lake lies both in Manitoba and Ontario. 

                        

Many trophy fish are caught and released each year. Walleye average 18-24 inches and Pike 27-40 inches. At over 8 miles of water to explore, Artery Lake has depths ranging for 10-35 feet. This area is very scenic including 3 sets of waterfalls.

 

 

We are only outpost cabin on the lake. This large 3 bedroom, 10 person cabin is located on the Southwest corner of the lake at the headwaters of the Bloodvein River. Walk 5 minutes down a trail behind the cabin and reveal a set of falls where you can cast off shore and catch your lunch.

 

           This is the dining and kitchen area very spacious and comfortable for large group.

 Lewis Lake Outpost 

 

This is Lewis- Lynx Lake Outpost camp. The cabin is located on an island just a short distance away from where the Poplar River flows out of Lewis. The cabin can accommodate eight people.

Here you will find a beautiful set of rapids and a waterfall that you can hear sitting on the porch of your cabin. At the east end of the lake you can motor 3 miles up the Poplar River and experience some of the best fishing in the area. At the west end is a portage to Lynx Lake where excellent Northern Pike and Walleye fishing is found.

 Very spacious and comfortable eight person cabin with full kitchen (propane fridge/freezer, gas stove, pots, pans, utensils & dishes, BBQ, fish Fryer) hot and cold running water, indoor bathroom and shower.

Poplar River Outpost 
















Poplar river is now being renovated in preparation to be fished for the first time in more than 10 years.

Interior will see a complete face lift. With new doors, windows, kitchen and  interior walls and ceiling the cabin will impress you nearly as much as the fishing.
